After a successful stint spanning four seasons with IK Sävehof, Laura Jensen is bidding farewell to the Swedish club and heading back to her homeland of Denmark. The center back will be joining Bjerringbro FH for the next chapter of her handball career.
Laura Cecilie Jensen, the latest addition to Bjerringbro FH, brings with her a wealth of experience and talent. Hailing from IK Sävehof in Sweden, she is set to return home to Denmark on July 1st after signing a two-season deal with the club.
– I have chosen Bjerringbro FH after several good conversations with Jesper Bangshøi. The playing style with its fast-paced game suits me perfectly, and the fact that it’s a young team playing with a lot of courage fits me just right. Bjerringbro FH is a club looking to establish itself in the league, and they have shown that they can develop players for bigger clubs. Blue Flamingos and Bjerringbro can expect a high-tempo duel player, and someone who will do everything for my teammates, says Laura Jensen about the deal to the club’s website, continuing:
– I look forward to playing in the Danish league again, which is the best league in the world! Bjerringbro has surprised many teams, and hopefully, in the next season, we can raise our level in the league and challenge even more teams!
